Fjätervålen is a new resort for the FIS AlpineEuropean Cup.
We are very pleased to welcome the FIS Alpine European Cup Tour to us.
The first international races that took place in Fjätervålen was the Swedish Alpine National Championships in Giant Slalom and Slalom in 2009. Organized by Stockholm Ski Assocation.
The Champions were Kajsa Kling, Ladies' GS, Matts Olsson, Men's GS, Maria Pietelae-Holmner, Ladies' SL and Andre Myhrer, Men's GS
Since the debut 2009 with the Swedish Alpine National Championships Fjätervålen have organized 64 international events in various categories and events.
It is one of four places in Sweden that is homologated for speed events as it has an ENL Downhill course (in two runs).
All you need for Alpine Training and Racing. There is several FIS homologated slopes in Fjätervålen. Ripan, ENL Downhill in two runs, Örnen GS and SL, Falken GS and SL and Höken SL. Fjätervålen hosts several FIS races every year and ski clubs from all over Sweden come here to organize races and for training.To the top
