Funäsdalen is not a new race arena. They have organized more than 200 races since 1998 in various categories, EC, NC, NJC, FIS, JUN, NJR, ENL.They have organized the Swedish Alpine National Championships in the tech events twice.
Funäsdalens SLK have hosted the European Cup last season when they organized two GS races for Women and two GS races for Men. Before that they organized two SL for Women in November 2017, in November 2009 they organized one GS race and two SL races for Women and one GS and one SL races for Women in November 2008.
Last year's winners were Kristine Haugen (NOR), Julia Scheib (AUT), Simon Maurberger (ITA) and Fabian Wilkens Solheim (NOR). In 2017 the winners were Katharina Liensberger (AUT) and Marina Wallner (AUT). In 2009 the winners were Martina Geisler (AUT) in GS, Carmen Thalmann (AUT) in the 1st SL and Emelie Wikstroem (SWE) in the 2nd SL. The winners in 2008 were Karin Hackl (AUT) GS and Frida Hansdotter (SWE) in SL.
Funäsdalen village is located 200 km south west of Östersund, the ski slopes are only three minutes from the village center of Funäsdalen. The ski season here starts at the beginning of November and lasts for more than 6 months, until the beginning of May. Take the new gondola at Funäsdalsberget and enjoy the view of the swedish mountains. Funäsfjällen is the largest ski destination in the Nordic Countries with 136 pistes.To the top

Enjoy corduroy snow in our runs, try our award winning park or start a career in one of Lola 's children's area . You set the limits for how you want to discover our beautiful mountains. A few nights a week, it is night skiing on the mountain which is a beautiful and special feeling. Downhill is not everyone's thing. For many of us, cross country skiing or snowmobiling the big travel the reason for going to the mountains . 300 km of groomed cross country ski trails and 450 km snowmobile trails you have access to the mountain town. The Official Program for each day will be published after the Team Captain's Meeting the night before. All Lists from the Races will be published as soon as they have been produced. All Races will be made available to follow live on FIS Live Timing.
